In 2002, Rich Mercurio left the corporate grind behind after discovering a love for landscaping through a Master Gardener course at Rutgers University. His vision was to build a company dedicated to caring for these special places.

When Gavin and his father Charlie joined the company, they brought decades of landscaping experience and a shared commitment to that vision. Together, they have nurtured Green Valley into a team focused entirely on caring for yards and gardens — creating spaces where families can relax, kids can play freely, and dogs can run happily — all while surrounded by the sounds of birds and rustling leaves.
